The Brand-New “Cheung Lung Wai Centre” Is Now Officially Open!

The Hong Kong Federation of Women's Centres has officially launched the new Cheung Lung Wai Centre in Cheung Lung Wai Estate, North District. Serving as a community hub for women and families in the district, the Centre focuses on supporting low-income households and newly arrived women, helping them develop their own careers.

As Hong Kong accelerates the development of the Northern Metropolis, the Centre aims to empower women to stand at the forefront of this transformation and actively seek opportunities. Through skills training, confidence building, and diverse support services, the Centre will enable women to fully participate in the evolving labor market of the North District.

Core Focus

Cheung Lung Wai Centre will concentrate on employment-related training, assisting women in:

  • Enhancing practical skills
  • Workplace readiness
  • Skill upgrading
  • Career transition support

This comprehensive approach helps women prepare to re-enter or integrate into the workforce.

A Space Built for Women

The Centre offers:

  • Comfortable relaxation areas
  • Childcare facilities to ease caregiving pressure
  • A community kitchen for training and social purposes
  • Multi-purpose activity and learning spaces
  • Breastfeeding rooms and more

The goal is to create a safe, friendly, and well-supported environment where women can rest, learn, and grow.

We warmly invite community partners, service users, and advocates for women’s rights to visit the new Centre and explore more opportunities for women and families in the North District.

Let's work together to create more possibilities.
