Gender-based violence against women is prevalent around the globe and in many Asian countries. Many survivors have not reported the violence they have experienced, nor have they sought assistance from family members, friends, or social service organizations because of taboos. Hong Kong Federation of Women's Centres and Zonta Club of Kowloon will organize a parallel session during NGO CSW67 Forum to explore the latest innovative & technology strategies for addressing sexual violence & intimate partner violence.
Speakers from Asia will share their latest innovative development in the region; discuss best practices and the use of technology, including research studies, for government, quasi-government bodies and civil society organizations to adopt in combating gender-based violence.
