Since 2023–24, the government has launched a three-year territory-wide campaign, Care the Carers Campaign, aimed at promoting self-help information for carers, spreading the message of walking alongside carers, and emphasizing the importance of building a community atmosphere that supports carers. The campaign seeks to raise awareness and understanding of carers' needs across society.
As a key highlight of the campaign, the Care the Carers Campaign – Carer-friendly Commendation Scheme, organized by the Social Welfare Department, was held on 13 January 2026 at the Hong Kong Science Park. The event was officiated by Mr. Chris Sun, JP, Secretary for Labour and Welfare; Ms. Alice Lau, JP, Permanent Secretary for Labour and Welfare; and Mr. To Wing Hang, JP, Director of Social Welfare.
The ceremony aims to acknowledge the long-standing, silent contributions of carers, while also recognizing neighbors and employers who actively support carers, thanking them for walking alongside carers and working together to build a more inclusive and supportive carer-friendly community.
Our Director, Ms. Sisi Liu, and Service Supervisor, Ms. Cora Yip, were also invited to attend the ceremony, joining stakeholders in paying attention to the situation and needs of carers in Hong Kong, and continuing to advocate for more comprehensive and effective carer support and care.

Events & Programmes
We provide a series of women-orientated service, including Counselling & Legal Support, Training & Employment Support, Gender Education, Caring the Carers, Cherish Food, Childcare & After-school Care, various Social Participation and Volunteer Development to promote gender equality in Hong Kong. We hope to enable women to develop their Confidence, Independence and Competence.
