Earlier, the Samsonite Volunteer Team visited the Jockey Club Carer Space (Sham Shui Po) and served as volunteers at the Carer Café, spending a relaxing and enjoyable afternoon with more than ten carers.
Most of the carers are women, making the café event especially meaningful during International Women’s Day. We are truly grateful for the support of the Samsonite volunteers, whose participation ensured the smooth operation of the café and provided year-round carers with a space to “take a break.” Their involvement helped transform society’s attention toward carers into real action, allowing the needs and voices of carers to be seen and heard by more people.
Events & Programmes
We provide a series of women-orientated service, including Counselling & Legal Support, Training & Employment Support, Gender Education, Caring the Carers, Cherish Food, Childcare & After-school Care, various Social Participation and Volunteer Development to promote gender equality in Hong Kong. We hope to enable women to develop their Confidence, Independence and Competence.
