Thank you to the Hyatt Hotels Corporation for inviting us to conduct gender sensitivity training for four of its Hong Kong hotels. More than 20 staff members joined the session, where we explored how cultural awareness, family background, and gender role expectations intersect to influence workplace interaction and communication.
Through real-life case sharing and discussion, participants reflected on gender stereotypes found in everyday life and work, gained a deeper understanding of diverse gender experiences, and learned how to support colleagues of different genders and backgrounds with greater inclusiveness and respect, promoting a more equitable workplace culture.
Hong Kong Federation of Women’s Centres has always been committed to breaking gender boxes and stereotypes in society, ensuring that women are no longer limited by traditional role expectations, and that everyone can freely realise their full potential.

We provide a series of women-orientated service, including Counselling & Legal Support, Training & Employment Support, Gender Education, Caring the Carers, Cherish Food, Childcare & After-school Care, various Social Participation and Volunteer Development to promote gender equality in Hong Kong. We hope to enable women to develop their Confidence, Independence and Competence.
