To celebrate the recent launch of "1600 Pandas" — a roving exhibit of French sculptor Paulo Grangeon commissioned by the WWF in 2008 — we invited the "Bless HK" and "PQM" to arrange a family day of fun and education at our Jockey Club Lai Kok Centre. Under the guidance of an instructor and ten volunteers, a group of mothers and their children, 25 in total, was treated to a fun day with the art of papier mâché, creating their own unique pandas. Not only was that fun and artistic, those attending also shared the artist’s underlying message of the 1,600 existing pandas in the entire world.
We provide a series of women-orientated service, including Counselling & Legal Support, Training & Employment Support, Gender Education, Caring the Carers, Cherish Food, Childcare & After-school Care, various Social Participation and Volunteer Development to promote gender equality in Hong Kong. We hope to enable women to develop their Confidence, Independence and Competence.
