We provide a series of women-orientated service, including Counselling & Legal Support, Training & Employment Support, Gender Education, Caring the Carers, Cherish Food, Childcare & After-school Care, various Social Participation and Volunteer Development to promote gender equality in Hong Kong. We hope to enable women to develop their Confidence, Independence and Competence.

"Co-creating Women Workplaces" Job Fair at Jockey Club Lai Kok Centre

 

The Project "Co-creating Women Workplaces" recently hosted a job fair at James’ Concourse, St. James' Settlement Social Housing. The event provided a platform for local residents eager to join the workforce to connect with potential employers.

 

Key highlights of the event included:

  • On-the-spot interviews: Several companies conducted interviews to fill immediate vacancies.
  • CV Clinic: A dedicated space offering personalized resume writing and printing services.
  • Pre-interview relaxation zone: A comfortable area was provided for job seekers to prepare and relax before their interviews.
  • Free childcare: An on-site childcare facility allowed participants to focus on their job search without worrying about their children.
  • Information booths: Various organizations provided information on frontline job opportunities, employee retraining programs, and other relevant resources.

 

The event was a resounding success, drawing a large crowd of enthusiastic job seekers.
