Our communication channels are very limited, so we are very thankful to our media friends for their concern of women issues. They have been voicing women’s opinions via different channels so that issues such as women policies, community construction, women-friendliness and environmental protection can draw the attention of the public. 香港婦女中心協會服務督導莊子慧指，不少基層婦女居住環境差，家中甩灰、牆崩的情況好常見，甚至有住劏房的婦女連門鎖都壞掉，覺得好害怕，無奈沒錢找人幫忙，自己又不懂修理。「換水箱、門鎖等其實不難，學懂後可以慳好多錢，大部分婦女都好想自己學懂小型維修。」
